The carrying amounts of the Group’s and the Company’s motor vehicles include amounts of $441,000
(March 31, 2015 : $593,000) and $217,000 (March 31, 2015 : $263,000) respectively which are held
under finance leases (Note 22).
The Group has pledged its leasehold building and a treatment plant with total carrying amount of
approximately $20,312,000 (March 31, 2015 : $9,654,000) to banks for banking facilities granted to
subsidiaries of the Group (Note 19).
16 GOODWILL
Goodwill is allocated to each cash generating units (“CGU”) identified that are expected to benefit
from the business combination. The carrying amounts of goodwill of each CGU are as follows:
